Shop with Purpose: Support Catholic Charities at Kendra Scott

This month, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada (CCSN) partners with the jewelry store Kendra Scott to hold a fundraiser on February 1st and 2nd. You are invited to participate by visiting the Downtown Summerlin Kendra Scott store location between 2:30 and 4:00 pm and mentioning us, or shopping on the Kendra Scott website and using our code: GIVEBACK-HZOVY.

If you’ve ever wondered about a different way to participate in Catholic Charities’ donations, this purposeful shopping opportunity is a great way to get involved. One purchase could be the difference between a warm meal for someone struggling and going hungry. 

One of the best ways to support our non-profit is by making a charitable donation, whether monetarily or participating in our partnership events like this one. Each purchase using the online code or mentioning Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada at checkout will directly impact our ability to assist those facing hardships.

If you are unable to make a purchase or attend this event with Kendra Scott jewelry, please don’t let that stop you from donating. We offer many other ways to contribute including item donations from a list on our website as well as regular monetary donations. No amount is too small to impact someone’s life. Community service comes in many forms and we would love to be the avenue you utilize to positively impact your community.

Helping Our Community Together

Thanks to our partnership for this event with Kendra Scott Gives Back, we are able to host a fundraiser that differs from a regular donation and raises awareness of the work we do in the Southern Nevada area. This event allows you, our wonderful supporters, to participate in a newer form of community service while still making a difference in the lives of vulnerable people you may or may not know. 

As well as monetary donations, we appreciate those who wish to be directly involved in our services. If you prefer to donate your time instead, there are also many ways you can become involved at Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada. We are always looking for volunteers to serve meals at our dining hall, work at a food pantry, and new faces for our youth-mentoring program. You can choose when and how often you volunteer, helping you and those around you in service to our community.
