Holiday Coat 2024 Drive

As the temperature drops and the holiday season approaches, Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada invites you to embrace the spirit of giving by participating in our 2024 Holiday Coat Drive. Winter brings challenges for many in our community, especially those without the resources to stay warm. This year, we are committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, can face the cold months with comfort and warmth.

Looking for where you can donate coats near you? Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada is a recipient of winter coats & jackets from the One Warm Coat Drive. The One Warm Coat Drive is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to deliver coats to adults and children in need.

Their winter coat drive is taking place across Nevada during November 8th to December 8th and we are honored to be recipients this year. If you want to donate any winter coats you have laying around, you can find more information from the One Warm Coat Drive about drop-off locations near you. Once we receive donations from the One Warm Coat Drive, we distribute the winter coats & jackets to those individuals and families here within Southern Nevada.

• Donate Holiday Essentials: Food donations are crucial to ensuring every family can enjoy a warm, festive meal. Items such as frozen turkeys, ham,  stuffing, boxed mashed potatoes, canned vegetables, cranberry sauce, and other holiday staples are always welcome.
• Contribute Non-Holiday Necessities: Beyond the holiday season, essential items like gently used winter coats, warm clothing, hats, gloves, and new socks are in high demand. These donations help keep individuals warm and protected as temperatures continue to drop.
• Support Housing Transitions: For those moving into new homes after difficult times, items like laundry detergent, kitchen towels, bath towels, new twin sheet sets, and shower curtains can help create a sense of stability and comfort.
