Feed Vegas Campaign: What You Need to Know

Las Vegas is often publicized for its vibrant nightlife and exciting events, but as in other cities, those facing hardships can sometimes be overlooked. At Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, it’s our mission as a non-profit to assist people in the Las Vegas area who are in need, regardless of religion, race, creed, and age. As a part of our community service, we conduct fundraising to continue our hunger relief services. We call this our Feed Vegas Campaign.

Throughout the year, you can donate and support our initiative to Feed Vegas and its surrounding areas. If you wish to donate food items instead, you can drop off non-perishable foods including canned meats, canned vegetables, peanut butter, pasta, sauce, soups, oatmeal, coffee, boxed meals, and cereals to our organization’s campus from 9 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday. 

Who Is Feed Vegas Supporting?

Feed Vegas provides meal support to new and recurring community members through our Meals on Wheels program, the WIC program, our daily community meal services at St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility, and our Hands of Hope Food Pantry. Our beneficiaries range from homebound seniors receiving Meals on Wheels drop-offs to families big and small seeking food assistance, and beyond. How You Can Help Feed Vegas

This community service initiative focuses on garnering donations to fund our food programs, but that is not the only way to participate. We offer volunteer opportunities, specifically in our Hands of Hope Community Food Pantry and our St. Vincent Lied Dining Facility. Your service opportunities begin here, serving a free meal at the dining facility or working at our food pantry near you helping each person find what they need.
